Each class nominates two student leaders to represent them on the Student Council. Student Leaders meet with the Principal regularly to discuss:
what’s going well around the school?
what can be improved around the school?
what can we do about it?
From here, they make a plan on how we can address what has been raised. Student voice is a large part of our school culture, and ensures that we keep well informed, through the eyes of our students, what we need to focus on, at Glentunnel School!
Each pair of students is on the council for six months. Elections are held early in Term 1 and Term 3.
